Football Camp FAQs.png
  • My child doesn’t have much football experience – does that matter?
No, not at all, we welcome all children, regardless of experience.
  • Do I have to book for the full week, or can my child attend on selected days?"
Danny Grant Soccer School camps can be booked via our website for weekly bookings. We can take daily bookings subject to availability. If you would like to book for selected days, please email and we will provide further booking and payment information.
  • Can my child be in the same group as his/her friend?
Yes definitely, if they are the same age. Please let us know the name of any friends attending in advance, so that we can ensure they are together. There is a space when you register online to include this information. Please advise this information as soon as possible, as our groups book quickly.
  • Can my child be in the same group as his/her sibling?
Children attend Danny Grant Soccer School camps in age-related groups, so siblings can attend together if they are the correct age to be in the same group.
  • I love to see my child in action – can I come to watch some of the camp?
Unfortunately, parents/carers are not permitted on-site to watch any part of the camp, and we are not able to record any part of the camp to share with parents/carers.
  • Where should I drop-off and collect my child?
You can drop off and collect from the main school reception. Further information will be emailed before the start of the camp.
  • What happens if I am running late one morning for drop off?
If you are more than five minutes late, please drop-off at the central drop-off point (this information will be provided in an email the week before).
  • What is the earliest time I can drop-off?
Children can be dropped off from 9.15am, for a 9.30am start.
  • What should my child bring with them each day?
Please provide a named, nut-free packed lunch each day, in packets/containers that your child can open and close. If you give your child food items such as grapes or cherry tomatoes, please ensure that they are sliced in half, as they can otherwise pose a choking hazard. Please ensure your child has bottle of water. Children should not bring any other items to camp (eg. toys, games, trading cards, personal/valuable items).
  • I have two children attending both Danny Grant Soccer School and Dramarama, and their camp locations are different. What should I do?
Please drop off your children attending the Dramarama camp first, from 9.15am, then take your other children to DGSS, to be dropped off from 9.30am. Please collect your children from Dramarama at 2.45pm, and then head to Dramarama for a 3pm collection.
  • What should my child wear?
Your child should wear comfortable sports clothes, with trainers - please ensure that all removable clothing is clearly named. If the weather is warm, please apply sunscreen in the morning, and provide a sun hat or cap.
  • Will my child be able to play outside, to get some fresh air?"
All children have the opportunity to play outside, weather permitting. On sunny days, please ensure that your child has a sun hat, and is wearing sunscreen.
  • Can my nanny collect my child from Danny Grant Soccer School?
Yes, please include on the registration form the names of all adults authorised to collect. After that, please inform your child’s football coach of collection information at drop off. If you’d prefer to email any information not included on the registration form, please email before 12pm on the Thursday before the camp.
  • Are there any parking restrictions I should be aware of?
For Camps at Haverstock School, NW3 only: You can park/drop-off in the school's car park. On-street parking is Pay and Display. For Camps at SHHS, NW3 only: During term time, only electric vehicles are allowed to access Nutley Terrace, Netherhall Gardens, and Maresfield Gardens, between 8am-9am and 3pm-4.15pm. Restrictions should not apply during private and state school holidays, and that the sign is closed when restrictions are active. However, the sign remains open (indicating restrictions are in place) when only private schools are on holiday, so please be mindful of this.
  • My child will scoot/cycle to and from the camp; can they leave their scooter/bike on-site for the day?
Unfortunately no personal items – scooters, bikes, or buggies/prams – can be left on site.
  • Can I contact Danny Grant Soccer School during the camp?
Rest assured, you will be contacted immediately if your child is unwell, or there any issue arises with your child during the camp. If you need to provide any additional information – eg. changes of names of adults authorised to collect, etc. – please email
